a list of things i learned to costa rica.

1. we love costa rica. brian and i decided that we aren't really beach bum kind of people. we like to be adventurous and do a lot of things. thats why we picked costa as our honeymoon vacation. it is so easy for you to plan your whole week of activities in like seriously one hour. really. we did.
2.

massages are like somuchyummy. i've never had one previously to this trip and when we got to have some throughout the week i died. seriously so relaxing and felt soo good. i also learned at the spa that i die in steam rooms. they killll me. i hate them.
3. brian and i are the best iguana chasers ever. im sure the hotel was use to little kids chasing after the iguanas but im not sure about how they felt when they saw brian and i outside every morning chasing and making friends with iguanas. ohwell

4. zip lining through the rain forest was the highlight of my trip. it was sooo much fun and like the most amazing feeling ever. sadly the older couple with us said she had pictures of us so we didn't need to buy some from the group buutt when she emailed them to us it was like us standing on the platform. super lame.
5. the atv guide must not have too many people who have actually rode quads because he was sooo impressed with my ability to lock the breaks when i parked. i only learned that tid bit of info when i was like 5 or something.
6. martha makes good salmon tamales in her small kitchen in the middle of nowhere.

7. surfing makes me sick. like literally. im sitting on my board in the ocean about to throw up. the guide said that people do it all the time. but i for one am not okay with throwing up on a surfboard in the water that im sitting in. so i only surfed two waves. i was content with just swimming as long as i could say i surfed in costa rica.
8.brian is ridiculously good at surfing. like really.
9. uhm. four sloths. all we need to see now is a walrus.
10. white water rafting is fun except for when your newly wed husband almost drowns. when that happens it kinda gives me a heart attack and charlie horses in my toes.
11. scooters are really realllly fun in perfect weather. even more fun in a rainstorm. except when you wreck. which i did. worth it.
12. all the shops in town are exactly the same pretty much. and they are not cheap. actually everything was kinda expensive. but moi beautiful.
13. walking into town from our resort at nightfall is scary and painful and hot.
14. apparently the employees of a spanish speaking only restaurant didnt know the word taco. reallly. all i wanted was a taco.
15. snapper fish isn't really that good. especially prepared like this.

16. Costa rica residents are obsessed with Colorado. they all want to go there. dont worry. i convinced most of them Utah was prettier.
seriously though. it was like the best week ever and im not just saying that because it was our honeymoon and all honeymoonish like. costa is the prettiest place i've ever seen and has sooo many fun things to do. sooo really. look into going sometime.
