34 Weeks

Whoa. I have gotten seriously behind on my weekly updates. :( Life has been super busy the past little while getting things ready for the little ones arrival. BUT a lot of really exciting things have happened. First off-we picked a name!!!!!
A little back story to share how we decided. Back in August Brian and I went to our first Red Sox game at Fenway. We went to sign Pesky's Pole and decided to sign one of our favorite baby names along with our names. Brian somewhat jokingly said-"if we win this game we have to name her that". Of course that was way too big of a commitment for me and I was only around 22 weeks at the time so I said "no way, but if the Red Sox win the World Series then we have to name her that". So we pinky promised and enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox for the rest of the season. Then they made it to the playoffs! We were lucky enough to go to ALCS Game 2 and cheer them on in an amazing comeback win. At this point I'm pretty sure Brian had fully converted to being a Red Sox fan and we decided to really start thinking about our pinky promise we made back in August. Then the Red Sox made it into the World Series. We were SO excited and decided then that if the Red Sox did win the World Series we wouldn't back out of deal. So with the big win over the Cardinals we had our name! Our baby girl is officially -

CORA MAE BOTHWELL. We absolutely love the name and can't wait to have a little person to the name to. We have to thank the Red Sox for naming our little girl. Without them we would still probably be switching between a couple. :)

34 Weeks-Name Cora Mae

34 Weeks

This year for Halloween I was really excited to dress up the bump. We brainstormed costumes for a long time and had some really clever ideas but in the end we always end up doing the easiest/cheapest/most last minute costume we can. So because my belly is seriously a the shape of a ball we decided to put it to good use and be Wilson and Tom Hanks from Cast Away. It's one the greatest love stories of all time so why not! It was actually really fun. :) We threw our first and hopefully not last halloween party. I really love Halloween and in the future I might be ambitious and throw a really cool Halloween party but at 34 weeks it was pretty simple. Food, Treats, and games. We still had a blast though. (Don't mind our awful red walls and purple curtains. :/ We are too cheap to get new curtains because we are only in the apt for a year. So we just put up with them) Overall week 34 was a good week!
